Greig’s private dining room was the venue for my 50th birthday party in December 2011 and they could not have been more helpful in arranging the event. They were flexible with menus and wines and also made it comparatively affordable for a central London venue. The location suited my friends from London and those who travelled up from Brighton as it's a short taxi ride from Victoria station. The food was great, hearty and filling. None of those tiny arty meals piled up on the centre of a plate, with smidgeons of this and that to look good on the menu, and just dribbled around it ,that leave you starving. This was proper food, well cooked, and plenty of it. They also took the trouble to decorate the room with flowers and provide seasonal crackers. Service was excellent too. We arrived at 7 and stayed to midnight for a very memorable evening with old friends in an atmospheric location. Warmly recommended.

What a fantastic experience my wife and I along with 2 children (4 and 6) recently ate this restaurant and cannot praise it and its staff highly enough. The steaks were not only huge but sublime the service was attentive and very friendly the restaurant manager Emilliano as well as the waiter who served us were just perfect. Thank you so much for a great evening we cant wait to return. Don’t be put off by the Mayfair address the price was incredibly reasonable for the 4 great steaks including wine and desserts. Thanks again.

I took my Board of Directors to Greig's in London. Fantastic service, delicious food,
excellent and varied wine list. They didn't bat an eyelid at our dietary requirements
and even took the trouble to email me the next day thanking us for being a nice group.
I will most definitely be returning and I would recommend to anybody looking for
good food and wine in cosy surroundingsGreig's, in the heart of Mayfair, a mere nightingale's
trill from Berkeley Square, lays claim to the reputation for serving the finest steaks
in London. For over half a century, long before the present day emphasis on properly
hung, possibly organic, meat, the cognoscenti quietly made their way to 26 Bruton
Place, confident in the knowledge that once there they would find well-

Investigative research undertaken by our resident carnivores at Selected has proven that steak is not just super for the taste buds but also splendid for the soul. That's why today's offer is a ray of sunshine on a moody Monday.
With a history as rich as its cuisine, Greig’s remains one of London’s most reputable
restaurants, most notably for its superb, succulent, melt-
While the diverse menu offers a treasure chest of charms, Greig’s is particularly popular for its Prime Scotch Fillet Steak, Roast Sirloin of Beef & Yorkshire Pudding and Smoked Scottish Salmon. That’s not to say you won’t want to sample the Whole Grilled Lobster – yes, the whole 24oz –, Seabass and Deep Fried Somerset Brie though. For dessert, prepare yourself for an equally excellent selection of sweet manna delivered directly from Greig’s' heavenly kitchen. Sumptuous staples such as Seasonal Fruit Crumble, Banana Split and divine Chocolate Mousse will provide a delicious denouement to your meal.
Tucked away on one of Mayfair’s exceptionally smart streets, this restaurant is tremendously
traditional and proudly British. You can’t really expect anything less from an eatery
that was established by 1950’s renowned restaurateur, Mr Alistair Greig, and rapidly
developed a reputation for serving the best steaks in London. Back then, his signature
dish was a prime Scotch fillet steak sourced from a fantastic family butcher and

Quietly nestled on a mews between Berkeley Square and Bond Street, Greig's has a
reputation as London's best steak restaurant. Founded by Alistair Greig in 1959,
its philosophy remains; the best ingredients cooked simply. Popular stalwarts on
the menu are great British staples as shepherd's pie and roast beef and Yorkshire
pudding. Floor to ceiling oak-
